I like dancing, singing, baking, and hiking, but I spend too much time running an online business to do these things very often - I'm a conference interpreter, so I love languages. Luckily, my dog Pepper (a black and white cocker spaniel) gets me outdoors for regular walks in the beautiful countryside around North Yorkshire, and Voiceplay offer plentiful opportunities for procrastination, since most of my work is online and VP videos are only a click away...

I sang in a choir as a teenager and have had a few periods of either taking singing lessons or singing with folk or classical choirs as an adult. I last performed in a trio at a concert of Greek folk music in London. Maybe when my two children have left home, I'll find time to sing again...

In the meantime, I keep busy with our 5 chickens, a beehive, and endless garden and home improvement projects.
